When registration does open, all competitors must indicate the IARU member society that best represents them on the registration form. The 2016 United States ARDF Championships is a qualifying event for the Team USA selection preceding the 2020 World ARDF Championships. Anyone may enter the championships and compete for medals, but only those who qualify for ARRL representation will be considered for qualification for Team USA in the 2020 World ARDF Championships.
